NOTICE is hereby given that the Geraldine County Council desires to raise the sum of £3OOO, by way of LOAN, under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1885,” for the purpose of Constructing Irrigation Works within that part of the Geraldine County known as the Waitohi Flat Water Supply District, and that it is proposed that the first year's interest on the said loan during the construction of the said work shall be paid out of the monies so borrowed; and that the sum of £165 is proposed to be set apart in each year towards the paying off of the loan, and it is proposed that a Special Rata of one halfpenny in the pound on the rateable value of the property within the said Waitohi Flat Water Supply District shall be pledged as security for such loan.
