TO THE,EDITOR. Sir,— -Undoubtedly “ Guardian ” will be delighted to see there is some little notice taken of his correspondence. If under ordinary circumstances it would have bean treated with contempt, as it is alrpoist all new blood in the committee, and at last meeting it was unanimously carried that all transactions should appear before the public, there is but little left but to gratify the “ Guardian's ” request. For the last ten years the children have had a holiday both days of the raoes, and I must respectfully ask the public to decide wbat two hours’ difference would make to the examination ?—I am, etc.,
