ENGLISH MARKETS.
London Sept. 27. Wool is quiet and prices are unchanged. Tallow—Medium mutton 26s 6d, beef do 255. One hundred and eighty-seven thousand four hundred bales of wool have been catalogued at the wool sales up to date. At an auction of woolled sheepskins there was a moderate attendance of Home and foreign buyers, and the bidding showed a decreased enquiry. Crossbreds, fine greasy, brought merinos, ditto, 7d.
