IVTOTICE is hereby given that the JLi Geraldine County Council desires to raise the sum of £3OOO, by way of‘LOAN, under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1885,” for the purpose of Constructing Irrigation Works within that part of the Geraldine County known as the Waitohi Flat Water Supply District, and i that it is proposed that the first year’s 1 interest on the said loan during the construction of the said work shall be paid out of the monies so borrowed; and that the sum of £165 is proposed to be set apart in each year towards the paying off of the loan, and it is proposed that a Special Rate pf halfpenny in the pound on the rateable value of the property within the said Waitohi Flat Water Supply District shall be pledged as security for such loan.
