At the Marylebone Police Court Mrs Jane Whitcombe, the wife of an ex-State solicitor of Minnesota, was charged with attempting to commit suicide by means of opium at the residence- of Lady f Seabright, with whom she had been 1 living for a long time. Five years ago Mrs WhitQombo attempted suicide at Monte Carlo both by drowning and poison. She is separated from her; husband who is living in Dalattge, Minnesota, and is in financial difficulties.
