CHILIAN REBELLION.
Valparaiso, Sept. 11
The Junta celebrates the insurgent victory by holding three days' festivities. The elections for the National Congress takes place on October 18th and that for President a month later.
It is believed that the Junta will accept the responsibility of Balmaceda's note issue, redeeming them in five years_ During the absence of dlie troops the Drancanians murdered several English families.
Sept. 12. If the Junta held the bank* responsible for Balmaceda's 27,000,000 dollars, of paper issue, scarcely a bank would survive.
The revolution cost Chili 70,000,000 dollars. The Junta have decided [not] to recognise the notes. The banks have therefore reopened. \
The elections will be conducted on the basis of universal suffrage. Paris, Sept. 11.
The captain of the Presidente Pinto has arrived herein order to surrender himself to the agents of 3bh.e Junta.
