[We do not hold ourselves responsible for the opinions expressed by our correspondents.]
TO THE EDITOR. Sie,—lt may v seein a lot of humbug to correspond on a paltry thing such as a report of the Winchester School Committee. However, the little township is not to be despised, nor the School Committee either. It can boast of a secretary, and when reporting he should do so correctly. With reference to Mr Page's complaint, before he entered the room and informed the Committee that the matter had been settled, it was unanimously carried " that it was the opinion of, the Committee that it was a frivolous complaint, and not worthy of the Committee's s consideration." In justice to the Committee and head master, if reported at all, the resolution should not have been omitted, and put in its place that Mr Page interrupted the meeting before its decision—l am, one who should like to see justice on all sides % A SIMPLETON*
