London, August 27. The American visible supply of wheat is 23,400,000 bushels. The storm is ruining the Irish crops as well as those in England, August 28. Three months’ bills arc discounted at If per cent. New Zealand 4 per cent inscribed stock,' 104 J; 3J per cent do 94J. New Zealand lonp-berried wheat is firmer at 45s 6d. For cargoes on passage sellers ask 435, buyers offer 6d less. Flour, patent brands, 28s 6d, Forward business in wheat shows a decline in values. Most of the New Zealand off coast cargoes have been sold. .Canterbury mutton, 4d per lb: lamb, 5-|d; Wellington mutton, 3fd per lb. The stock of frozen meat is accumulating. Beef, hindquarters, 4jd per lb, , New Zealand hemp is steady, but there js an occasional decline "of 10s per ton. South Australian wheat, 45s 6d; Victorian, firm at 455. Berlin, August 27. There is a continuous rise in the price of wheat and rye in Berlin.
