August 17 Brunner, s.s., 340 tons, Waller, for the north. IMPORTS. In the Brunner, N.M. and A. Co., agents: 40 tons merchandise. Among the consignees were Messrs Pearpoint, Dunlop, Priest and Holdgate, Russell, Taylor, Bates, Cragie, Morris, Siegert, and Velvin. London, August 15. The steamer Duke of Buckingham is loading for- Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago. Capetown, August 15. R.M.S. Ruapehu sailed to-day for Hobart and Wellington. Sydney, August 18. Arrived —Monowai, from San Francisco via Auckland. Sailed—Jubilee, for Wellington. Hobart, August 18. The R.M.S. lonic, from London via the Cape, arrived at one o’clock this afternoon, and sails again at 11 p.m. for New. Zealand. -She has 48 passengers for Australia and 60 for New Zealand.
