MAIL NOTICES.
The letter-box will be cleared for despatch of correspondence from the Temuka Post Office to the undermentioned places as follow : For Northern Ports of New Zealand per Penguin, on Tuesday, July 14th, at 5 p.m. The next English and European Mail via San Francisco, will close at this Office on Wednesday, the loth day of July, at 5 p.m. Money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.55 p.m. Late fee letters at mail van till departure of north expres. For United Kingdom (specially addressed correspondence) and Australian Colonies per Tarawera, on Wednesday, July 15th, at 1.55 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand and Sydney per Hauroto, on Friday, July 17th, at 7.30 a.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Mahinapna, on Saturday, July 18th, at 5 p.m. Note. From Thursday, 2nd July, a Thursday Half-holiday will be granted to Letter Carriers. Persons who expect letters which would be delivered on Thursday afternoon by Letter Carriers are requested to rpply for them at the Post Office. A. W. MANN, Postmaster.
