Cabin fittings, which have been identified as those belonging to the steamer Taramtidg, have been washed ashore. A terrific easterly gale is blowing acd a fearful sea is running along the ksoast. Five coasters have been driven ashore at Bellinger Heads, The crew of the Tenus have, been brought ashore in safety. No definite information is yet to band regarding the crews of the other vessels, but from the character of Trial Bay it is anticipated that tbs men have escaped with their lives. A meeting called by Mr Cox, the delegate of the anti-Parnell Party at Home, in aid of evicted tenants in Ireland, has been postponed.

The principal recommendations of the conference were foreshadowed in a paper read by Dr Cobb, and telegraphed on the sth inst. Over four hundred candidates are in the field for the general election.
