AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS. TIMAKU. The Canterbury Farmers’ Association, Limited, report as under: — Wheat—During the week there has been good demand for all lots offering, and prices show an advance as compared with last week’s values. Prime samples of last year’s wheat havi been sold at 4s 4d per bushel; ihis gear’s samples are worth —Tuscan and velvet 4s 2d to 4s 3d, red chaff it Id to 4s 2d, on trucks ; whole fowl wheat 3s 4d to 3s 6d, seconds 3s to 3s 3d f.o.b. Oats—All lots offering meet with a ready sale at the following prices : Canadians Is 7d to is Bd, seed tartars Is 6d to Is 7d, duns Is 6d to Is 6d, bright heavy danish Is 5d to Is 6d, discolored and inferior Is 3d to Is sd, Barley—iNo business doing; prices nominally''2s 6d to 2s 9d for prime samples; inferior unsaleable. Potatoes—Prime derwents are being offered at 32s 6d f.0.b., sacks in, but owing to the low prices ruling : in Sydney it is difficult to find buyers at that price.
