AT a Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Geraldine, helc. in the Council’s Office on Wednesday, April Bth, 1891, the following Resolution making « SPECIAL ORDER was passed : “ That this Council, in pursuance of the powers vested in it bv 1 The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886,’ that this Council do imka aad levy a Special Annual Recurring Rate of One Halfpenny (|d) in the (£) Pound for each year, commencing from the first day of January, and ending on the Slat day of December, on the rateable value of all property within (he limits of that portion of the County of Geraldine called or known as ‘The W'dtohi Flat Water Supply District,’to provide the interest and annual charges upon an authorised loan of (£3000) Three Thousand Pounds, raised by the Council under the provisions of ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,’ for the purpose of cons'ructing special public works, coopting of Water-r.icee, within such portion or district exclusively, Such rate to come into force on the first day of June, 1891, and to be payable on the first day of August following, and in subsequent years on the first day of May, for a period of twemy-six years, until the said loan is paid off.
