Several Unionists, on a charge of aid. mg and abetting the leaders in the recent riots, have been sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from two to three months. At the trial of (he Peak Down rioters at Rockhampton a panel of 270 jurors was exhausted without getting a jury. April 30.
