GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. AT a Special Meeting of the Connell of the County of Geraldine, helo in the Council’s Office on Wednesday, April Btb, 1891, the following Resolution making a SPECIAL ORDER was passed : “ That this Council, in pursuance of the powers vested in it bv * The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886,’ that this Council do make a id levy a Special Acnual Recurring Rate of One Halfpenny (£d) in the (£) Pound for each year, commencing from the first day of January, and ending on the Slat day of December, on the rateable value of all property within the limits of that portion of the County of Geraldine called or known as ‘The Waitohi Elat Water Supply District,’ to provide the interest and sinking fund upon an authorised loan of (£3000) Three Thousand Pounds, raised by the Council under the provisions of ‘The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,’ for the purpose of constructing special public works, coneiting of Water-races, within such portion or district exclusively. Such rate to come into force on the first day of June, 1891, and to be payable on the first day of August following, and in subsequent years on the first day of May, for a period of twenty-six years, until the said loan is paid off. This Special Order is to take effect on the second day of June, 1891, and will be c affirmed at a Meeting of the Geraldine County Council to be held on Wednesday, the 13ib day of May, 1891. i v order.
