Hie aotion was approved of. It waa mentioned that one gentleman in the Levels dhtrict had offered to give the sum of £2 out of his own pocket towards oattvasiing the LoveU distriot against the repairing of the bridge. Members considered the notion was a most selfish one, as the bridge was an almost imperative neoesßity. It was thought probable that a depptation of the chairmen of the various board's might have tome weight with the counoil, and it deoided to co-op»rate with the Mount Hoad Board, Mr Jflatman to represent the Geraldine Bjori if a deputation were agreed upon. ovebsbeb's BBPOET.
