LABOR QUESTIONS.
London, March, 4. Three thousand five hundred nonUnionists are now being employed at the London Docks. Mitch 5. Mr Parnell ie in favor o£ shortening the hours ot labor and the establishment of Boards of Conciliation. Lord Salisbury favors the appointment of Messrs Mann and Burns to seats on the Labor Commission, but his colleagues, differ with him. The Shore Unions in London have agreed to return to work and remove the block. Burns has tabled amotion opposing the statutory limitation of labor. March 8. The stevedores and coal-heayers at London have again refused to work with non-unionists, The railway men refuse to support the seamen and firemen in a general strike. It is reported that Mr Goschen, Chancellor of the Exchequer, will be chairman of the Labor Commission. The Shipping Federation have refused to withdraw their ticket. A deputation waited oh Mr W ( H, Smith, urging that one half of the cumber of members ou the Labor Commission should be recognised leaders of the labor party, , The German Government are purchasing English coal to provide against a general strike of miners. Berlin, March 6. It is feared that a general strike in Germany will shortly take place,
