Tbe grand jury threv but the Bill against Ah Yam, a Chinaman, charged with manslaughter m the Chalmers place aiffray ; Robert Brown, assault and robbery, got nine months ; James Kearney, for breaking his probation terms for a second,time got one month, and the bail of Bernard Ginnesburg, £IOO, charged with fraudulent bankruptcy, was estreated.; March S* The following sentences were passed to-day : —Christie, alias Campbell], sticking; up the Eocklands Station,, eigbt years; Tatfeam, same offencej,' two years; William Mockford, un r natural offence, fifteen years.
