SUPREME COURT.
Wellington, March 3. The following sentences were passed today: DeLury (a Frenchman), forgery, two years ; 'E. McKenna, forgery, two years;; W. Gi. Willoughby, forgery,; five )years ; Harry Wilson, for receiving stolen horse, saddle and bridle, (an old offender), seven 1 Dttnedihv March 2- I To-day at the Supreme Court, Alfred Harley got three years -for - forgery, Henry Stewart was sentenced to oue day's imprisonment for forgery, and John Gouk, for ,a similar crime was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. Tbe grand jury threv but the Bill against Ah Yam, a Chinaman, charged with manslaughter m the Chalmers place aiffray ; Robert Brown, assault and robbery, got nine months ; James Kearney, for breaking his probation terms for a second,time got one month, and the bail of Bernard Ginnesburg, £IOO, charged with fraudulent bankruptcy, was estreated.; March S* The following sentences were passed to-day : —Christie, alias Campbell], sticking; up the Eocklands Station,, eigbt years; Tatfeam, same offencej,' two years; William Mockford, un r natural offence, fifteen years.
