The delegates who are to visit Australia on behalf of the seceders from the Irish Leader leave on Friday. I hey expect to collect £20,000 in aid of the funds. The World says Mr Parnell threatens to render the mission to Australia fruitless, , Mr Parnell, speaking at! Dublin, threatened to ; support the Tories at the general election. Mr O’Brien has been served with a, writ for £17,000, the amount of the costs in the libel action against' Lord Salisbury. Mr Balfour dtnies that Mr Dillon and Mr O’Brien are broken: in health. T he nnti-Parnellitp parly hold a demonstration at Manchester on March ]7th. Melbourne, February 26. A branch of the National League here have cabled to Archbishop Walsh to prrvent delegates from either party coming. There are no prospects of such a mission doing any good at present.
