Auckland, Jan. 27. Robert Ralph pleaded guilty to-day to a breach of the Branding Act, as being the owner of eight unbranded sheep over four months old. He was fined 20s and costs. Woodville, Jan. 27. Lizzie Hill, aged 12, daughter of Rowland Hill, fell off a timber waggon this morning when going to Bchool and was killed. IsrrEECAßGriiii, Jan. 27, John Henry Lewis alias Fredrick Blythe, and John Williams alias Allen, were charged to-day on remand with escaping from custody at Milford Sound, and committed for trial at the Supreme Court, which opens on the 10th of February.
