DE, KOOB’S CURES.
London, Jan. 21. Professor Stuart asked Dr Koch it he would undertake experiments with a view of discovering an infections disease which would destroy rabbits. Dr Koch refused, and also declined to allow an Australian delegate to work under bis direction. He stated he was aware such diseases bad occurred, and advised the Australian colonists to appoint two bacteriologists to s'udy diseases which might be available for the purpose, one working in Europe and one in Australia, Ho was of opinion that the discovery of a suitable disease was feasible.
Professor Stuart has been promised a a continuous supply of lymph. A London chemist alleges that Dr Koc’s discovery is an old homoeopathic remedy which be bad dispensed for years. Berlin, Jan. 21.
A pout mortem (lamination of the bodies of patients who have died under Dr Koch’s treatment have strengthened the belief in the efficacy of Dr Koch’s discovery, as it was shown that the disease was nearly cured when death occured. Dr Koch still retains part of bis secret with respect to the composition of the lymph.
