MAIL NOTICES.
The letter-box will be cleared for despatch of correspondence from the Temuka Post Office to the undermentioned places as follow :
For Northern Porte of New Zealand, per Takapuna, on Friday, Jan. 21st, at 5 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Bofcorua, on Saturday, January 24th, at 5 p m. The next English and European Mail via San "Francisco, will close at this Offioe on Friday, the 23rd day of January, at 5 p.m. Money orders and registered letters and newspapers at 1.55 p.m. Lata tee letters (6d extra) at the Railway Travelling Port-Office Mail Yan (Northern Express Train) till the departure of north express train. This mail will be due in London on 2nd Mar oh. From let January, 1891, the rate of postage to the United Kingdom by San Francisco or by direct steamer will be 2i& per half oz., and 6d psr half oz., by any other route. Post cards, 2d each, will be issued for correspondence to United Kingdom, from Ist prox. A. W. MANN, Postmaster.
