London, Jan. 18. i Both the English and German doctors condemn the vagueness of Koch's explanation of his remedy. I Paris, Jan. 18. ; The French medical faculty have delivered an opinion with regard to Dr Koch's disclosures thai they are incomplete. The doctors consider it would be a mistake either to overpraise or or to decry the discovery at present. Berlin, Jan. 17. The Chilian insurgents have landed at: Coquimbo, where the Loyalist troops are surrounding them. A state of siege has been proclaimed throughout the country, and business is being paralysed in: consequence. Jan, 19. .Nearly the whole Chilian army have joined the rebels. The blockade of the coast has paralysed trade, and provisions have risen to famine prices.
