The next English and European Mail via San "Francisco, will close at tnis Office on Friday, the 23rd day of January, at 5 p.m. Money orders and registered letters and newspapers at 1.56 p.m. Late lee letters (6d extra) at the Railway Travelling Post-Office Mail Van (Northern Express Train) till the departure of north express train. This mail will be due in London on 2nd March, From Ist January, 1891, the rate of postage to the United Kingdom by San Francisco or by direct steamer will be 2Jd per half oz., and 6d psr half oz., by any other route. Post cards, 2d each, will be issued for correspondence to United Kingdom, from’ Ist pros. A. W. MANN, Postmaster.
