GENERAL BOOTH'S SCHEME,
London,Jan. 14. General Booth refuses to allow trustees tobs appointed for the funds collected ia aid of his co'onisation project. General Booth says that the Australian colonies have formed erroneous ideas as to the scope and details of bis scheme. He intends to send out qualified mechanics, and not necessarily unskilled labourers. Ho proposes to vis't Au*tra ia himself in September to work up support for his proposals. He aMes that he feels certain he will be able to destroy the prf jadrces formed against them, and that he entertains mire respect both for hie own reputation and for the colonists than to I foist the iiff-raff of Eegland on tbem.
