The monthly meeting of the above board waa held on Tuesday. Preßent' —Messrß Fraser, Snell, Woodhead, and Bissett, In the absence of Mr 'Jalbot, who sent an apology for nonattendance, Mr Fraser was voted to the chair. ACCOUNTS. Correspondence was read and dealt with as follows :-- From the Geraldine County Council, notifying that the second contribution, amounting to £l4l 12s 7d, to the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board waß due, and requesting that it might be placed to the credit of the board at the Bank of New Zealand, Timaru, as early as possible. From Mr J. A. Young, Winchester, stating that a firo had occurred at the plantation known as the pound reserve, and that C. Taylor, B. Moss, W. Gimson, junr., and J.
