AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS. GERALDINE. Messrs J. Mundeli and Co. report sales for the week ended January 3, 1891, as follows :-—■ At the Temuka live stock market on Tuesday a moderate entry of stock was yarded, which met with a really good market/thanks to the clerk of the weather, who on the day'previous gave us a steady 'down poor'of rain, thereby adding from Is 6d to 2s per head on store sheep. The numbers yarded were 1700 sheep, 150 cattle, and 12 pigs. Prices realised during the sale were—

Sheep Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, 10s 6d, lis 6d, lis 9d to 12s, aged crossbred ewes, fat, 9s 63, 9s 9d, 10s, 10s 6d to 10s 9d; merino wethers,, fat, 10s j half bred wethers and ewes, two-tooth, 7s lid ; three - quarter - bred wethers and maidens, two-tooth, 9s 3d to 10s 6d. Cattle—3-year-old steers, fat, £5 5s to £6; cows, fat, £4t 2s 6d, £4 7s 6d to £5; 2-year-olds in forward condition, £1 17s 6d to £2; yearlings, £1 to £1 ss; calves, 7s to 10s, Pigs Porkers, 14s 6d to 16* ; strong stores, 7s to 7s 6d; weaners, 4s to ss,

ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Jan. 2. South Australian wheat, 38s, market restricted ; Victorian do, 38s ; New Zealand and long .berried do, 37s 3d, market quiet. New Zealand flour, superfine, 23s 6d. Canterbury mutton, 4d; Wellington do 3£d ; New Zealand beef, forequarters, 3|d, hindquarters, 4d.
