William Jones was found in a small creek at Cape Foulwind this morning. The body was found lying face down. Jones is supposed to have been overtaken witha fit. He leaves a wife and grown up 5 family. Adonland, Nov. 3. Te Mahuke and the twenty other natives arrested with him, hare been committed ior trial. One of the party was discharged. ' Mastbeton, Nov 8. A man named Gundeson was killed this morning., whilst bush-felling at Wangaehu. Cheistchuech, Nov. 4. A lad named Nos worthy was severely crushed between twb railway trucks at Lyttelton to-day, apd seems in a critical condition. Wellington, Nov. 4. Two burglars,named Patrick McGuire and Henry Jones, were caught in Ralph’s drapery establishment early this morning. Skeleton keys' wore found on each of them.
