They complained that night was made hideous by glove fights and , smoko concerts often lasting till; four o’clock in the morn'ng, so that people living near could get no a'eep. The Marquis of Q'ueentberry and a numb o ? of police officials and others declared the club was a quiet end respectable establishment. The hearing was adjourned.
