!PeO3C latest news we gather that all the Union Company’s vessels will be laid up to-day. We do net exactly know what has led to this, but so far as we can make out it is a united effort put forth by the ship owners to break down the Seamen’s Union, The Union Shipping Company are acting in concert with the Australian shipping companies in this matter. It is simply a fight between a union of ship owners and a union of seamen. No doubt 1 by next issue we shall get a clearer view of the case.
