Maize is unaltered. Barley is quiet. Bran, Pollard, lOd.

ENGLISH MARKETS.

London, August 10. Tallow, medium mutton, 25s ; beef, 24s 6d.

The English wheat market is unchanged, the Continental dull, and the American shows a general advance. For wheat off cost sellers ask 37s 6d ; buyers are only to give 37s ; wheaton passage, 88s; JS"ew Zealand, 36s 9 i.

Colonial oats, fine average, 29a; common, 245. August 11.

The average price of wheat in country markets is 36s 3d. From farmers’ reports the Agricultural Gazette estimates that the wheat, barley, and oat crops, will be about the average.
