A SUGGESTION.

TO THE EDITOB, 'Sib, —It appears from this morning's paper that a large number of burglaries are being committed in many of the large towns in the colonielr: Allow me to suggest the importance of" one of our police being placed on duty during the night, as it is scarcely requisite for two of them to be patroling our streets m the daytime, and at night one of them might be very-useful in preventing the Bame thing occurring here. It goes without Baying that one shop in the town will not .be required to be watched, as it is Bcarcely ever closed day or night. —I am, etc., i Pbetention.Better Than Cube. July 16th, ,1890. .
