Doing Justice.— The retirement of Mr Donald Stronach from the Dunedin managership of the N.Z.L. and M. Company soma months since gave rise to rumors detrimental to Mr Stronach'a character. The oompany'a inspector, who is now in Dunedin, haß written to Mr Stronach intimating that during his whole service with the company his conduct in relation alike to. the company and its clients was thoroughly honorable, and that there was no justification whatever for rumors of a damaging nature. i^^m
