ORABI-WAIHI WATER-SUPPLY DISTRICT. IS HEREBY -GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Geraldine, held on the 11th day of June, 1890, a Resolution to Make a SPECIAL ORDER was adopted, nnd the objects of such Special Order are : (1) To fix the Annual Rate, or Charge, under Clause 4 of the Waterworks By-law of the County and “ The Counties Act, 1886,” to be paid by Occupiers of land within ‘‘The Orari-Waiht Water-Supply District”, for use of the water-races and water supplied thereby, at (2id) TWO PENCE HALFPENNY PER ANNUM for each Acre of Land or portion thereof held by such occupiers in such district. (2) To appoint the Annual Dates of Payment of such rate or charge, for the year ending 3lßt December, 1890, to be made on the Ist of August, 1890, and in subsequent years on the Ist of May in every year. (3) To make such rate or charge payable at the Gounod’* Office, Timaru. (4) To regulate the expenditure of such rate or charge. And it is further notified that the said Special Order will come into force on the 20th day of July, 1890, and that a meeting of the said Council will be held at Timaru on the 9lh day of July next, at 11 o’clock a.m., for the purpose of confirming such resolution.
