ACCIDENTS, FATALITIES, ETC.
, Charles Milne, a blacksmith, was found dead in a building in Albert Street, Auckland. His employers not having seen him for some days broke open the house and found deceased lying on the floor. He had apparently died in a fit. A girl aged about four years, named Fowlds, in Waipa, Hawkes Bay, has-' been missing siuce last Tuesday from her home near Hampden. Search parties have been out ever since. Seventy men were out last Sunday, and a party of Tikokino natives were out on Tuesday, David Mclntyre, while walking under the coal staiths at/Westport, fell into the river and was drowned. The body was recovered an hour afterwards. A passage ticket for Auckland whs found on the body. It is supposed Mclntyre came from Little Grey.
