Muadell and Go. report sales for the week ended Juno 7th, 1890, as follows: A 1 Pleasant Point Monthly Sale on Monday there was a large entry of s'ock yarded, th» built of which wag sold at satisfactory prices, Of our entry, we sold in Sheep—246 llme-quar'er-bred wethers and maiden ewes 2-loolh at 14s Id ; 63 crossbred we hers and maiden ewes 2 and 4-lootb at 14s ; 163 crossbred lambs at 8s 7>l ; 75 crossbred welbers and maiden at lls sd, and a line of store merino weibeis at 3s Bd, Cattle—4 steers, and heifers at £4; 5 steers and heifers, fat, at £5 ; cows in profit, £2 5s ; 2 year-old steers at £1 15s *, yearlings, 15s ; calves, 10s. : Pigs—-Weaners we sold at 10 the following price?, viz., 6s 6d, 5«, to 4s 6d, At Geraldine Live Stock Market on Wednesday tip yarding was the smallest we have had for several months, but the competition was good on a'l lots coming under the hammer, and we could have disposed of at least 3000 sheep at satisfactory prices if they had been yarded, A I lots under offer so'd at the following prices ; bbeep Crossbred 2-looth wethers and maiden ewes, 14s 7d ; merino wethers, 7s Id ; cull crossbred ewes, 3s 3d 1; iia If bred 2-toolh wethers and maidens, fit for turnips, 12s, Cattle—7o head yarded. Messrs William Collins and Co. report a good attendance at their regular weekly grain and general produce sale, held by them on Saturday, Pigs were in good demand and brought as high as 17s 6d each, carcases pork per lb. for 150'bs ; anything larger are sold at a lower rate. Derwent potatoes sold well at 50s per ton, onions »t per lb. I hero is no demand for kidneys. For feed oafs the owners will not accept ihe price offered, Late advices from Sydney show ajoss on all consignments from ihtre.
