NEWFOUNDLAND FISHERIES.

Haliyax, June 2. The British squadron has arrived here. The Admiral considers that the French were justified in ordering the removal of the nets by the local fishermen at St. George’s Bay. Two warships have received fresh orders to proceed to Newfoundland in case of necessity, St. Johns, Jane 3. It is asserted that France will agree to abolish the bounties ou the cod fisheries.
