The loss is £7OO, and there is no insurance. The Farmers’ Arms Hotel at Wyndham, Southland, has been burned dawn. It was of brick, and was occupied by Mr J. Milne. The insurances on the building were in the New Zealand, Phoenix, and National each £SOO, and on the furniture £4oo’. in the New Zealand office.
