DRAUGHTS.

The match between married and single members of the Temuka Draughts Club, which was to have taken place at the Mechanics’ Institute last night, fell through, owing to the married men being largely in the minority. A scratch match, however, was arranged, Messrs Leach and Chapman chosmg sides. The game resulted in a win for Mr Chapmen’s side. Mr Gaze acted as referee.
