The Early Closing Association of Christcaurch. have decided to hold a meeting to consider the question of affiliating with the Trades and Labour Council. Certain correspondence which had appeared in a newspaper waß brought before the committee. It was considered that the letters contained libels on the Association and their secretary, and it was decided that Mr Wynn Williams be retained to take legal action against the writers.
