On the 17th the train due to leave Christchurch at 8.0 a.m., and to arrive at Timaru at 1.55 p.m,, will start at 7.45 a.m., and be due from Orari at 11.32, Winchester 11.42, Temuka 11.62, arriving at Timaru at 12.25 p.m. It will connect at Washdyke with a Special Train from Timaru to the Racecourse.
