The CREWE MURDER.
London, April 8. Richard and George Davies, convicted of murdering their father, were banged tc-day. The Home Office yesterday received 3000 telegrams asking a reprieve to be granted, and the mother of the condemned lads and the jurors who recommended them to mercy on the grounds of youth, cabled to her Majesty at Aix-les-Bains, but all without avail. It is understood that her Majesty was favorable to respiting the Davies. Berry, the hangman, was hooted, The Press is indignant at the sentence being carried out. Both the criminals died calmly, Ihe younger Davies, at the moment of execution, declared that he never struck his father.
