At the Fairlie Creek racea on Easter Monday, the Hurdle Handicap was won by Mr J. Gibson’s Hollywood, the Maiden Weight-for-Age by Mr T. Daly’s Liberator, the Fairlie Creek Cup by Mr T. Esler’s Derby, the Selling Hack Race by Ace of Diamonds, the Mackenzie County Plate by Derby, the Handicap Time Trot by Mr 0. Hammond’s Jumbo, the Easter Handicap by Liberator, and the Consolation by Mr J. Riddle’s Carpenter. At the autumn meeting o£ the Canterbury Jockey Club on Monday, the Christchurch Hurdles was won by L. Markey’s Little Arthur, Mr Meikle’s Cathedral second; the Temple ton Stakes by Mr J. Harris’s Lord Ashton, Mr Popham’s Aleinoua second ; the Great Autumn Stakes by Mr Lumi’s Merrie England, MrCutts’ Dudu second ; the Champagne Stakes by Mr Stead’s Medallion, Mr Wilson’s Pygmalion second ; the Epsom Welter by Leinster, Mr Lunn’s Count D’Orsay second ; the Russley Stakes by Mr D. O’Brien’s Town Moor, and the Post Stakes by Harkaway. On Tuesday, the Second Hurdle Race was won by Mr Rutherford’s Abua, Mr P, Henley’s Royalty second; the Autumn Nursery by Mr W. McFarlane’s Riehlake, Mr D. O’Brien’s Town Moor second; the Challenge stakes by Mr W. R. Wilson’s Pygmalion, Mr Q-. GK Stead’s Medallion second; the Selling Race by Mr Harris’s Red Ensign, Mr W. •Russell's Red Cross second; the Easter Stakes by Mr D. O’Brien’s Helmsman, Mr A. L, Popbam’s Alcinous second ; and the Consolation by Mr P, Henley’s Tarra, The autumn meeting of the Australian Jockey Club concluded at Sydney on Monday, and was very successful. Results: Elying Handicap, The Gift I, Gay Time 2; Maiden Stakes, Litigant 1, The Serf 2 ; Champagne Stakes, Wilga 1, Titan 2 ; Sydney Gold Cup (1500 sovs., 2 mi es), Carbine 1, Mantilla 2 (time , 2min. 47sec.). The Selling Plate was won by Hugo, and the Eirst Nursery Handicap by Yenapa.
