Sir,—ln your issue of Tuesdaylast I observed an article headed “ Treat for Children.” It B tated that the Railway Commissioners had decided to issue to school children return tickets to Dunedin for 3s 6d to enable them to see the exhibition’. Teachers accompanying the children would be charged 6s 6d. So much heavier, I suppose. But sir, if the teachers do not accompany the children, who is to take charge of them ? It seems to me that the teachers who undertake that duty accept a very grave responsibility, and instead of being charged 6s 6d should have free tickets, and be allowed a little—just a little—extra for the occasion.—l am, etc., Feancis Feanzs,
