CYCLONE IN AMERICA.
Washington, Msrch 28. The oyclone, which was of: the combined nature of the tornado snd snow b)izz»rd, ploughed a Urack from Nebraska to ISew l!ork 1114 miles long and a third of a mile in breadth, Amongst other towns Nashville, the capital of Tennessee, suffered severely. The storm was predicted by the Weather Bureau, but the populace were incredulous. The embankment of the Mississippi is yielding, and a fearful flood is expected. The Mayor of Louisville, where the damage was very heavy, states that outside relief is not needed, March 31. It is estimated that the loss of life by the recent cyclone will amount to about 200. New \ork, March 31. The Besba country, in the State of Arkansas, is inundated to a depth of fifteen feot, and three thousand of the residents who sought refuge on the housetops ore in a famishing condition.
