The revenue for, the quarter shows a | dncrease of £63,000 compared with the same period last year. ihe falling rfF is partly accounted for by a decrease of £31,000 in stamps, owing to tbo reduction in postage sates. Sydney, March 31. The recently established locomotive company undertake to manufacture engines at £65 per ton, against £6O charged by English manufacturers. The first hundred of the locomotives are to be completed in three years. < April 1. The revenue f o r New South Wales for the quarter shows an increase of £51,000. Adelaide, April 1. An audacious robbery of £2600 took \ place yesterday at tho counter of the Commercial Bank, and the thief got clear away. The total amount of wheat exported lo date is 93,000 tons. This is within 3COO tons of the whole of last year's export. <
