IRISH LAND PURCHASE BILL.

London, March 26. The Press generally approves of the Irish Land Purchase Bill introduced by Mr Balfour. The Freeman’s Journal considers that if it becomes law it will have the effect oL inflating the value of land in Ireland. The Pall Mall Gazette characterises the measure as “simpiy abominable.” The Daily News thinks it will benefit only the landlords. The Liberals are strongly opposed to the Irish Land Purchase Bill.
