AUCTIONEERS' KEPORT. GERALBINE. Messrs J. Muadell and Co. report Bales for the week ended March 22nd, 1890, as follows :- At the Q-eraldine yards on Wednesday there was a full entry of stock Pent forward for the day, which met with a really good market. The total entry consisted of 5400 sheep, ]3O cattle, and 65 pigs. The bulk of the stock was sold at the following quotations:— ° Sheep—Crossbred wethers 13a 9d to 11a 9d, crossbred ewes (fat) 9s 6d to 9s sd, crossbred lambs 7s 4d, 6s lid to 5s 9d, crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, 2 and 4-tootb, 9s 6d, 9s to 8s 9d, cull crossbred ewes 4s 9d, 4s, 3s 9d to c?s od cull merinos 3s Bd, 2s 6d to Is lid. We sold on acceunt of several clients crossbred wethers and maiden ewes at 10s 7d to 9s, crossbred ewes (fat) 9s to 6s 7d crossbred ewes, 2-toeth, Bs.

' The English wheat market is lifeless, but the Continental market has a buoyant inclination, and the American is advancing. For cargoes of Australia* wheat, crop on passage, sellers are asking 345. The highest price obtainable for colonial barley is 355.
