TEMUKA SOHOOL COMMITTEE.

'I The regular monthly meeting of the above committee took place on Tuesday evening. Present—Messrs Blyth, Cooper, and Rutland. Mr Blyth was voted to the chair. COREESPOOTJEIfCE, A letter was received from Mr Henry Cross, reminding the committee of a former application re a testimonal. testimonial to be forwarded. HEAD MASTER’S EEPOET. The Head Master reported as follows ; “ 1 , hav ® .the honor to submit the following report for the month of February— Boys. Girls, Total. Average weekly roll 200 7 179.5 380.2 Ayerag* attendance 148.9 148.7 297.6 Highest attendance 164 157 321 Two panes of glass have been broken, I enclose cheque for £2 4s, being amount of stationery fees received up to date for present quarter, I expect to get more before the end of the month.—l have, etc., W. The visitor for the month, Mr Cooper, reported that the main pipes of the girls lavatory required attention. In other respects the buildings were in fair repair,—The secretary was instructed to arrange with the janitor for repairs to pipes, and also to attend to repairs to window. It was also decided that the gutters should be cleared prior to wet weather setting in.

ANNUAL MEETING, The secretary was instructed to prepare the balance-sheet and report, in readiness for the annual house* holders’ meeting. ACCOUNTS. Accounts amounting to £2 10s were passed for payment. The meeting then terminated.
