London, Feb. 24

: In the House of Commons, Mr J. Morley, on behalf of Mr Gladstone, gave notice of an amendment reprobating the false charges of the gravest and most, obvious description, based on columny and forgery,, brought agajnst members'; of the House, and regretting the suffering and loss endured by reason of such flagrant iniquities, Sir C. Ellis, member of Parliament for Antrim, gave notice of a further amendment to the effect that Mr Dillon, Mr O’Brien, and the other parties to treasonab'e conspircy, also, Mr Parnell, Mr Condon, Mr Healey, and the thirtyeight members guilty of criminal conspiracy, are, in the opinion of the House, deserving of censure. In the House of Commons the debate on free education was resumed by Mr J. Morley, in the absence ot Mr Gladstone. He stated that endowments were promised to the Catholic schools but withheld from the Church-dissenting schools, where the latter educated the children of other sects. This statement caused much comment.

The Address in Reply was agreed to on a division.
